Dr. Attila Gökhun Dayıoğlu

Attila Gökhun Dayıoğlu was born in the Beyoğlu district of İstanbul on 15 February 1992. He completed his primary and secondary education in İstanbul, graduating in 2015 with a
degree in Political Science (English) from F.M.V. Işık University. He completed his master's degree in Political Science at Wroclaw University in 2017, subsequently earning his PhD from the same university in 2022 in Political Science and Public Administration – Central and Eastern Europe. Throughout his doctoral studies, Dr Dayıoğlu served as a Research Assistant at Wroclaw University, where he also delivered lectures. In 2019, he held an internship position at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Warsaw, within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Dr.Dayıoğlu’s principal research areas encompass Eastern and Central Europe (Visegrad 4) Countries, the Radical Right, Political Parties, Democratisation Movements in Post-Communist Visegrad States and Hungarian and Turkish Turanism. His academic publications include a book on the Radical Right in Hungary, book chapters, national and international articles and national and international conference papers.
